The Hap Trap Run is a culinary marathon through the Haarlemmermeer in which running and cycling alternate. Participants go solo or in a duo or trio, and within a team you decide for yourselves who covers which part on foot and who rides. Start and finish are at Landgoed Kleine Vennep in Park21. Along the way there are stops at a series of fixed places — among them Fort NOXX, a coffee roastery, a wine house and a pizzeria — where there is something to taste. There is no timing: the distance is the frame, not the performance. Taking part supports Stichting Prakkie, which provides weekly groceries to families living in hidden poverty in the Haarlemmermeer.
