The Friday 17 April 2026 edition opened the Maasland Run Classics circuit and started from Lietingstraat near De Harense Smid. The programme combines two youth races of 600 metres and 1.2 km with the familiar 5 km and 10 km races for adults. That gives the event both a village feel and a complete race-day structure: children run early in the evening, before the 5 km and 10 km start at 19:30. The course is a road race in and around Haren, backed by an Atletiekunie-affiliated organisation and practical facilities such as changing rooms, first aid and parking.
