The Harense Smid Run is AV Oss '78's spring race in Haren and opens the Maasland Run Classics, a circuit of road races in the region around Oss. Start and finish are on the Lietingstraat. The evening begins with the youth: 600 metres at seven, and ten minutes later 1200 metres. At half past seven the 5 and the 10 kilometres set off on a road course in and around the village. The set-up is compact and affordable — seven euro for the adult distances, three for the youth — with changing rooms, first aid and parking on site. The race is affiliated to the Atletiekunie, so the times count.
