The Corrida de Corbais is an evening race around the Place Corbais in Walloon Brabant. All three distances — 2.5, 5 and 10 kilometres — set off at seven in the evening, so the choice is purely about how far you want to go rather than when you start. Each distance has three hundred places, which keeps the field manageable without making it hard to get in. Entry is open at any age, and anyone who has not signed up in advance can still enter on the day at a surcharge, while places last. Late October, in the dark and on the road: this is a corrida for anyone wanting to close the season sharply.
