Burchtloop Brustem

About the race

Burchtloop Brustem is a village-focused road race organised by VZW Burchtheem in Brustem, near Sint-Truiden. The 5 and 10 km races follow a fully paved course around the village centre, with the castle and fruit-growing landscape as recognisable backdrops; the 10 km consists of two laps. Young runners have short distances from 100 m to 1 km, keeping the event accessible for families as well. The start and finish area on the village square, electronic timing on the main races and the link with the local fair make the event sporting but unmistakably local. Burchtloop Brustem is therefore a good choice for anyone looking for a clear road race with plenty of community atmosphere.
